this is what brought me into game editing.. i call it: light and tunnels
There is no result, it's just random mapping based on the manga: blame!
I have not choosen which engine to use - i made approaches with nearly every editor
light and tunnels is more my brewing pot for testing engine capabilities.
For getting a sense for the play between architecture and light
Mostly I map with no layout, no gameplay, use generic single colored textures and have no playablity in mind.
Random sketches in 3d.
A personaly desire - nothin' less or more - but the source of my mapping interest.
my last approach was with q3 - but i was not that satiesfied..
maybe more on doom3 (if i found the time and muse)
and then for the first time with some cool normal maps?
