after playing around with maps for some years i wanted to see what the "other" departments are making all the time. So i came up with the idea of building myself as playermodel.
I followed roughly the great book "creating a 3d game character" by Paul Steed.
Choosen 3d package was 3dsmax which i hadn't used before but wanted to learn anyway.
I used tons of digital image and PS to create the face skin - sadly i never finished the body skin.
The result was more funny than usefull, the main expierence was to understand how modellers and skinners work which definitly helped working on samuraiwars.
and i got enough skills with 3dsmax to create basic static meshes or ingame models for my own needs.
